a student walked into my classroom…

“I want to join the police academy.” blurted out the excited student on his first day of GED class. I explained he had a while to go. I assumed that even cops where expected to have a high school diploma. I directed the class to the start of our evening lesson – as the new student was lead out for assessment testing by my assistant. A moment later the student is being removed from the building for being intoxicated. Brilliant – a future cop.
