Perched high-

Far from any who would care.

An amphitheater of Earth.

Towering hundreds of feet above my head –

Arching and embracing me in its fold.

I wonder how many others have stood on this stage?

Others that share my interest

but not 

My species.

Can I stay? 

Be a witness to a drama –
