Middle Age Empty

This feeling-

Or lack of –

Fills me.

What a contradiction-

Being filled with emptiness.

Each discovery or pursuit – to fill –

This empty space –

Is either immoral –

Or unethical.

What is one to do? –

Stay the course?

Deny the body?

Be satisfied with an empty feeling?

At least my bottle is only half empty.
